YEHUDI was born with a wish and a vision – a wish to offer Florida’s Jewish college students and millennial’s real Jewish content and refreshing experiences, and a vision to make it happen.

YEHUDI wakes up every morning excited to articulate yesterday’s inspiration in today’s language for tomorrow’s leaders.

By offering dynamic programming, thrilling social events, beautiful venues, international trips, and stimulating growth opportunities, YEHUDI forges eternal bonds and sparks the YEHUDI in you.

The YEHUDI HUB

Location. Location. Location.

The YEHUDI HUB, state headquarters of YEHUDI, is centrally located in the heart of Miami Beach. A few minute walk to 10 kosher restaurants, 14 synagogues, 2 kosher supermarkets, a Judaic store, Starbucks and the world renown Miami Beach beach.

The HUB is home to the YEHUDI offices and 2500 square feet of event space designed specifically for today’s trendy millennial. The HUB also houses student apartments, a guest apartment and is home to the Rabbi and his family for Shabbos. Come visit the HUB and see the magic for yourself!

Olami is a foundation dedicated to ending Jewish apathy, inspiring Jewish greatness and educating the next generation of Jewish leaders. Olami provides funding and leadership to over 300 Jewish outreach organization across the globe. YEHUDI is proud to be an Olami affiliate. YEHUDI currently receives approximately one third of its funding from Olami. The funding comes largely from private philanthropists Elie Horn and Aaron Wolfson and from the Israeli government through the Mosaic United initiative.

Mr. Abraham Galbut is the senior partner of Galbut Walters & Associates. He is an accomplished attorney in both transactional, real estate and finance law, and in litigation with a substantial practice in family, probate and guardianship law. The Galbut family have been pillars of the Miami Jewish community since its inception and Abraham has a reputation of being a community builder. Mr. Galbut recognized the potential of YEHUDI in its infancy and became the YEHUDI Chairman in 2015. His community influence has made YEHUDI a household name among the thousands of Miami Jewish residents.

Mr. Elie Horn is a Brazilian-Jewish businessman and philanthropist operating in Brazil, and president of Cyrela Brazil Realty. Mr. Horn, together with Olami, provided the seed money to start YEHUDI and are actively committed to its success. He considers the YEHUDI mission statement of “Upmost importance.”
According to Forbes magazine, Mr. Horn is the first Brazilian to sign the Giving Pledge to give away 60% of his possessions to charity.

Mr. Aaron Wolfson, son of the late Zev Wolfson, known real estate tycoon and phinathropist. Mr. Wolfson is one of today’s greatest Jewish philanthropists and visionaries. Together with Mr. Elie Horn he founded Olami. Mr. Wolfson was a close friend of Norman and Zahava Goldwasser. He was happy to help provide the seed money to establish YEHUDI in memory of Zahava and has continued being a partner of YEHUDI ever since. The success of YEHUDI is a testament to Mr. Wolfson’s sincerity as it clearly shines through in every YEHUDI program.

Mr. Abbey Berkowitz is a real estate investor best known for the beachfront hotels his family owned on Collins Avenue.
